"It's never good news, when the numbers go backwards"

The Road Safety Authority (RSA) and An Garda Síochána have today published a provisional review of progress in road safety for the first six months of the year. The review shows that from 1st January to the 28th of July 2019, 89 people died on Irish roads in 80 collisions. This represents 3% more collisions and 7% more deaths compared to provisional Garda data for the same period in 2018. Well, for reaction to today’s road safety figures, Joe Molloy was joined now Conor Faughnan of AA Ireland.
