Nearly 50,000 Children on Paediatrician Waiting Lists

There's nearly 50,000 children waiting to see a Paediatrician for an outpatient appointment - that's according to the Irish Hospital Consultants Association who say more than 19,000 children have been waiting over 12 months. Professor of Paediatrics at the Royal College of Surgeons and Consultant Paediatrician at Temple Street Children’s Hospital, Dr Alf Nicholson joins in studio to discuss the figures.
