Andrea was reading in the paper this morning about the story of James Anthony, a Derry man, who got skin caner on his face after using sun beds.
He has since called them ‘cancer machines’ and said that we have the same attitude towards sunbeds now that people had towards smoking in the 1950s.
Because sunbeds are still quite popular, in fact a recent study has found that 1 in 20 children have used a sunbed.
Andrea was joined by Martina in Tralee, her brother had passed away from skin cancer, Conor Graham, skin cancer advocate with Action Cancer in Northern Ireland, Gary Lipman, Chairman of the Sunbed Association and Jennifer Rock, The Skin Nerd to give their views...
