Should multinationals be paying more tax?

In response to comments by Sinn Fein’s finance spokesperson Pearse Doherty that Sinn Fein would plan tax hikes for multinationals, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar tweeted the following: “Multinationals played a crucial role in lifting Ireland out of the last recession and they will again as we rebuild our economy after Covid. What does SF want to do? Tax them.” Should the Government be planning tax hikes on our multinationals? To discuss, Kieran was joined on Monday's edition of The Hard Shoulder by Sinn Fein’s Finance spokesperson, and TD for Donegal Pearse Doherty and Fianna Fáil MEP for Dublin, Barry Andrews.
