Most under-fives spending too long in front of screens

Most under-fives are spending too long in front of the television or on smartphones, according to new research. The World Health Organisation says that children below the age of two should not look at screens at all, and guidelines suggest those aged between two and four should be limited to just one hour per day. To discuss the findings of this research Shane was joined on the show this morning by Brendan Kelly Professor of Psychiatry at Trinity College Dublin.
