Who are your most hated TV show characters? Lauren Tom, who played Ross's palaeontologist girlfriend Julie in the second season of Friends, recently revealed that her character was so unpopular with viewers that they would boo her during tapings of the show. Other characters who have provoked similarly strong reactions from TV fans include Skyler White from Breaking Bad, Dawn Summers from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lord Grantham from Downton Abbey, Jess Mariano from Gilmore Girls and Betty Draper from Mad Men.
