MND Global Awareness Day

June is National Awareness Month for Motor Neuron Disease and tomorrow, June 21st, is MND Global Awareness Day.  The disease affects more than 400 families across Ireland and this weekend is not only an opportunity to spread awareness about the disease, but to also raise funds for essential services.  But what is it like for someone living with the disease? Michael Clancy joined Susan to discuss his experience and how his "glass half full" attitude helps to keep him focused on staying healthy, not just for himself, but for his family as well. Listen and subscribe to Newstalk Breakfast with Susan Keogh on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.      Download, listen and subscribe on the Newstalk App.    You can also listen to Newstalk live on newstalk.com or on Alexa, by adding the Newstalk skill and asking: 'Alexa, play Newstalk'.
