Minister Simon Coveney Will Appear Before The Oireachtas Joint Committee

Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney will appear before the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence today for the second time to answer further questions on the appointment of Katherine Zappone as a special envoy with the UN.  Yesterday afternoon it was revealed that Katherine Zappone sent Simon Coveney a text message in early March thanking him for the “incredible opportunity” of the job as special envoy.
