Minister Richard Bruton on Measures to Reduce 'Fast Fashion' Waste

Is ‘fast fashion’ the new ‘fast-food’? What was once seen as a good alternative to expensive options is now potentially damaging to the planet because of the way we throw these items away.  Climate Action and Environment Minister Richard Bruton has announced a set of measures on waste management that include how we consume and dispose of clothing and textiles.  But the plan also targets the tobacco industry and comes at the same time as the proposed ban of petrol and diesel car sales by the year 2030.  Climate Action and Environment Minister Richard Bruton joined Mark Cagney to talk about the new measures.
