Microsoft Sees New Daily Record Of 2.7 Billion Meeting Minutes In A Day

Now that so many of us are working from home, platforms like Zoom and Microsoft are experiencing huge growth. According to a new remote work trend report, Microsoft Teams has seen a new daily record of 2.7 billion meeting minutes in a single day, a 200% increase from mid-March. The report also shows that there are 183,000 tenants in 175 countries using Teams for Education. Andy O'Donoghue joined us for Tech Tuesday to discuss this, as well as the increase in the number of COVID-19 related domain names being registered by scammers. We were also joined by Olivia Buckley, Director of Public Affairs with the Banking & Payments Federation Ireland, who spoke about the FraudSMART campaign designed to alert consumers to scams during the pandemic.
