Managing the history of a nation is no small feat, but for Zoë Reid, it’s her day job. [audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2021/12/16124327/ZoeReid_1612.mp3"][/audio] Zoë is the Senior Conservator at the National Archives of Ireland, responsible for permanently preserving the documents that tell the story of the nation. There are millions of documents under her care, and speaking to Dermot and Dave, Zoë explained the pain staking work that goes into ensuring that nothing is lost. Zoë also spoke about the new exhibition running at Dublin Castle called: The Treaty, 1921: Records from the Archives. This is the first time the official documents and private papers, including the Treaty document will be presented to the public and it is running until March.
