McDonald’s to replace plastic toys in happy meals

McDonald’s is pledging to offer sustainable Happy Meal toys made with dramatically less plastic by the end of 2025. The burger giant said it was working with toy companies to develop three-dimensional cardboard superheroes children can build or board games with plant-based or recycled game pieces.
