Irishman Behind 'Angela Merkel Thinks We're At Work' Flag Gets A Special Wedding Gift From German Chancellor

Great job Angela, great job 2012 was a massive year for the Irish football team and a very memorable year for this country in general. Amidst the "tighten your belts" era, we needed something to transcend the doom and gloom and bring a bitta craic back about the place. Insert Euro 2012, where Ireland were competing in their first major championship in a decade. How could anyone forget the madness over in Poland and they Ukraine?? The place was gone ape! Well one of the most iconic images from that time was the 'Angela Merkel Thinks We're At Work' flag, which was created by Limerick legend Richie Tuohy and his band of UL brothers. Seven years on and Richie has just signed a contract with a different German lady, his new bride Orlagh Eicholz.
