Major reform proposed for the Defence Forces but will the government deliver on the reform?

More cyber security specialists, new armoured personnel carriers, a larger navy and more aircraft are expected to be just some of the recommendations from the long-awaited Commission on the Defence Forces. The report is expected to be brought before the Cabinet by Defence Minister Simon Coveney today and will be published later this week.
