Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said that a plan is being put in place to ease the current COVID-19 restrictions, but warned that the country is not out of the woods yet. Dan O'Brien, chief economist at the Institute of International and European Affairs and columnist with the Sunday Independent, believes conversations need to take place with medical experts regarding the health risks for people under 45 and the economic impact of long-term restrictions.
