Liveaboards call for more permits to live on the waterways

For several weeks now there have been a number of barge boats docked on the Grand Canal in Dublin, however, they do not have legal permission to stay there and Waterways Ireland want them removed. Even though there are hundreds of people living on barges and boats along Ireland's waterways, there are fewer than 30 permits. The Minister for Heritage and Green Party TD Malcolm Noonan has stalled the boats from being evicted and the owners have now started a campaign calling for more recognition. Our reporter Josh Crosbie went down to the canal to check it out.
