Listener Dilemma: Should This Woman Tell Her New Job She's Pregnant

Earlier this week Dermot & Dave received an email from a listener who is facing a dilemma. It reads: "Hey Dermot & Dave, I’m wondering if you could ask your listeners to help me with something. I’ve been working in my current job for the last 6 years and although I love it, recently I’ve been looking to make a bit of a change and progress in my career. About 8 weeks ago I saw a job advertised which I absolutely loved and would be a dream come true if I got it - so I decided it feck it life’s too short and I applied for it. To my delight I’m now down to the final two in the interview process, however since applying for the job I’ve also found out that I’m expecting with my first child (EEEEK, exciting!!!). If I get the job I’d be due to start when I’m just shy of being six months pregnant – so I now facing a bit of a dilemma. Do I tell the interviewer that I’m expecting, which could hamper my chances at getting this job, or do I continue the process and break the news if I’m hired? This is causing me lots of stress because I don’t want to mess anyone about, but I also want to myself first in all of this."
