Leo Varadkar Says It Would Reflect Badly On Ireland If We Were Last EU Country To Reopen Schools

Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has said it would reflect badly on Ireland if we were the last country in the EU to reopen schools. Having previously put pressure on Fianna Fáil to publish the travel 'green list', is he now doing the same with Minister for Education Norma Foley regarding school guidelines? We spoke to Aodhán O'Ríordán, Labour Spokesperson on Education, Enterprise and Trade, who says a multimillion euro package should have been announced months ago, and Claire McGee from the Irish Business and Employers Confederation, who believes the state's recovery plan will be undermined unless schools reopen in September.
