Land of the Rising Scrum | Ep 12 | France | Jerome Thion and Tony Marsh

This week on Land of the Rising Scrum, Neil Treacy speaks to former French internationals Jerome Thion and Tony Marsh, as well as AFP rugby journalist Illtud Dafydd about what to expect from France at the Rugby World Cup. Thion was one of the rocks of the French pack from 2003 to 2011, despite only taking up the sport at the age of 20. However, the Biarritz legend's test career came to an abrupt end when he was one of several big names axed by head coach Marc Lievremont after the 2011 Six Nations. New Zealand-born Marsh returned from treatment for testicular cancer in 2003 to take his place in the French midfield as they reached the last four of the tournament in Australia.
