Dublin Zoo has reopened to the public this morning, after being shut for 11 weeks. The number of visitors has been limited to 500 at any one time, tickets will have to be pre-booked, while a new one-way system is in place. The animals in Dublin Zoo have been without human admirers since March 12, but the gates have now reopened to limited numbers and people are only permitted to walk in one direction, to allow for social distancing. Tickets are available by pre-booking online only and there are just 2 visiting periods a day, with a maximum of 500 people allowed in per session The first of those begins at 9.30am and ends at 1pm. The second session is from 2pm until 5.30. All internal and enclosed spaces such as shops and animal houses will remain closed for the time being. This morning on Dermot & Dave our reporter Kacey O'Riordan spoke to the lads about what kids were missing the most while the Zoo was closed.
