Just over 1% of sexual offenders engage with State treatment programmes

Shocking figures reveal just 1% of sexual offenders engage with the State’s treatment programme. While figures show, the number of convicted sexual offenders is now 4 times higher than in 2018, just 8 of almost 700 sexual offenders in custody are taking part in the Building Better Lives programme.
