“I just felt like I was given a second chance in life”

Paddy Slattery’s debut feature film ‘Broken Law’ was one of the most anticipated new releases this summer, written and directed by Paddy himself, the movie tells the story of two brothers on opposite sides of the law.  The movie was a long time in the making as Paddy started writing it in 2009. He overcame many obstacles along the way to this film due to a car crash that resulted in Paddy being left in a wheelchair at the age of 17, but this led him to take down a new path and a more creative route.  Paddy Slattery joined Tom Dunne to talk about his new film and everything that led to it.
