Janet Devlin Having first came to fame on The X Factor when she was just 16, Janet Devlin is back with her brand new album confessional. Now 25, Janet has faced some tough times for her young age and this new album lays all her secrets bare. She taught herself to play instruments by ear and penned her own songs where nobody else could hear her sing. In 2011, she caught the public’s attention on Series 8 of The X Factor, where she consistently received the highest consecutive public vote out of all the contestants. They led her to travel around the UK and Ireland, as well as the East Coast of North America. Janet also connects with audiences across the world by performing using the online platform StageIt. Her online presence has also gained her huge support with 530,000 YouTube subscribers. They offer an intimate look into a decade of her life. From the years leading up to her appearance on the X Factor, to the present, it tells the story of the mental health issues that Janet has survived. Each chapter in the book unlocks the meaning behind each song on Confessional. Janet is looking forward to taking the album and book on tour once that's possible.
