Republic of Ireland and Stoke City footballer James McClean has continued to speak out about the anti-Irish abuse he has received on social media. Last weekend McClean shared a direct message he had received on Instagram which read: "Don't make me set your house on fire and burn everyone inside it". He has also revealed details of a gun threat made towards him by a fan ahead of a Premier League game in 2012. McClean also spoke about the support he has received from his Irish teammates since sharing the Instagram message.
