Children in Ireland are waiting as much as four years for autism assessments. Families are always told early intervention is key but the resources don’t seem to be there to help. Kieran was joined by Miriam Kenny, Chairperson of Involve Autism and Rebecca McDermott who has spent €16,500 for private autism assessments, to discuss the toll this is taking on families.
