According to doctors, the more we learn about early brain development, the more we understand the need for play based on human interaction. There is no screen or app that can replace the relationships built with toys. Specialist toy shops are now offering something different to the big chains, going back to basics, with wooden toys, puppets and marbles. Henry McKean found his inner child and sent us this report. With the Toy Shop in Malahide and The Bubble Room in Skerries focusing on traditional toys.
