Gardai say it may take up to three weeks to conclude the search on the Kildare/Wicklow border as part of their investigation into the murder of Deirdre Jacob. The 18 year old vanished near her home in Newbridge in July 1998 which is about 15km away from the remote search site. The search has been prompted by a cold case review which found unusual activity was spotted in the location on the evening Deirdre disappeared. Alan Bailey, retired Garda detective and former national co-ordinator for Operation Trace, joined Kieran to discuss...
