Tourists that come from all over the world to Dublin will regularly spotted visiting the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street. Along with hearing the story behind the song, they are also entertained by the statues ample cleavage.
On Twitter over the weekend, Dr Charlotte Proudman said: “Name one statue of a man in which women rub its testicles in the name of tradition”, with a photo of man touching the Molly Malone statues breasts.
