Along with hearing the story behind the song, they are also entertained by the statues ample cleavage. On Twitter over the weekend, Dr Charlotte Proudman said: “Name one statue of a man in which women rub its testicles in the name of tradition”, with a photo of man touching the Molly Malone statues breasts.
