"It was the most disheartening news" - That is what Green Party Leader Eamon Ryan told Anton Savage about the developing new Omicron Covid variant.
He talked through the new restrictions being brought in to combat the possible spread of Omicron. Asked about using the government jet to bring back Irish citizens from South Africa - he said all suggestions were being considered.
Also it’s been over a year since this current coalition of Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and the Greens took power, and one of them, the Green Party is holding their annual conference this weekend.
