Is world trade slipping or shipping?

With a possible trade war looming after Britain plans laws to override the NI protocol, the World Trade Organisation could be center stage. That’s because if the EU were to suspend or scrap the trade deal agreed with Britain only 2 years ago, it could lead to Britain trading on so-called WTO rules with Ireland. That could be very disruptive and expensive. Coincidentally, the WTO Ministerial Conference took place this week with the Tanaiste Leo V in attendance. Victor Stolzenburg from the WTO now spoke to Joe Lynam on the show.
