Irish women are using the least effective types of contraception for preventing pregnancy, according to new research. The report, commissioned by the Dublin Well Woman Centre, also found that there is a "concerning over-reliance" on emergency contraception in many cases, while just over half of women aged 17-45 claim that they have had sex where no contraception was used.
