Irish Skiers Lament The Fact There Will Be No Christmas Ski Season We’ve sacrificed many things as a result of Covid-19, but nothing compares to the news that’s out today.  Germany announced that it will push for Europe to ban ski holidays in a bid to curb coronavirus infections.  Each year, thousands of Irish people hit the slopes across Europe for a winter break.  Andrea spoke to Tara Murphy of the Ski Club of Ireland who was saddened by the news but says the slopes at Kiltiernan will hopefully be open this Christmas. Many Irish skiers got in touch with the show to express their dissapointment that there will be no ''off piste'' this year. Mike joined the conversation by saying how essential skiing was to him.
