Should younger people be vaccinated sooner?

Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly is reportedly looking into vaccinating younger cohorts of people. In an effort to prevent further spreading of Covid-19 as society reopens, those under 30 could be next to be vaccinated. We asked Professor Kingston Mills of the schools of Biochemistry and Immunology at TCD if he thinks it's a good idea. As well as that, a new variant of Covid-19, first discovered in India, has now been detected in the UK. 77 cases of the B1617 variant have been found so far in Britain.
