If Kids Ran The Country How Would They Allocate Budget 2022?

Up The Déise The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show headed south to Waterford for this week's edition of Aisling's School Tour. Aisling Bonner from the Breakfast Show Crew visited Cappoquin Primary School to chat to the kids in Ms Veale's 6th class. They were all lined up outside the school with a welcome banner when she arrived. Aisling chatted to Ellie May, Emily, Caoimhe, Ava, Paul, Mícheál, Conor, Kevin, Juno, Soairse, Faye, Callie, Siún, Giulia, Donnchadh, Billy, Annie, Sophie, Aoibh, Niamh, Alicia, Robyn, Josh and Fatima. The Budget With Budget 2022 due to be announced next Tuesday, Aisling asked the kids if they had billions of euro to improve Ireland, what would they spend it on? And after hearing about a woman who already has her Christmas decorations up, and seeing selection boxes and advent calendars lining shop shelves, Aisling asked the students whether October was too early to start preparing for Christmas. [audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2021/10/07105827/Schools-Cappoquin-ON-AIR-STING.mp3"][/audio] We wouldn't complain if Ms Veale's class were in charge of the country!
