The Hard Shoulder Highlights
“I didn’t say ‘go lobby!’ But I did say to talk to other relevant ministers. I don’t regret that!”
It began with online live streams that sustained the country's appetite for live music through some of the darkest times. But 18 months later, it looks like we’ll soon be back to the real thing.
It’s been a bumpy road not just for the musicians, but for the Minister tasked with trying to get them back on the road.
Following the roadmap out of restrictions announced by the Taoiseach last night, the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin, joined Kieran to discuss how this will affect the live events industry.
She also gave her reaction to Simon Coveney's admission that he deleted text messages relating to the appointment of Katherine Zappone as a UN Special Envoy, and the Merriongate fallout.
