Hotel, Pub And Retail Sectors React To Christmas Eve Lockdown Announcement

Taoiseach Micheál Martin has confirmed new COVID-19 restrictions for the country over the Christmas period. Non-essential retail will remain open, but shops have been advised not to hold post-Christmas sales events. Hairdressers, barbers, restaurants and gastropubs will all close from 3pm on Christmas Eve. Kildare, Noreen Gannon from Gallagher's Gastropub in Cork and Duncan Graham, Managing Director of Retail Excellence Ireland, joined us with their reaction to the announcement.
