Home sharing with a pensioner to save on rent

THE Home Share is based on the concept of two people sharing a home for their mutual benefit. In this case, widow Colette Conway has opened her home to young professional, David Donnelly, who's been struggling to find a place to live, due to record rents. Newstalk reporter, Aideen Finnegan, has caught up with the pair as well as CEO Lucie Cunningham, who tells us how the not-for-profit organisation works. Colette and David were strangers who were matched as housemates, based on @THEHomeshareIE concept. It combats isolation while offering young people an affordable place to live.
