Hidden Histories: Henry Grattan

Buried in Westminster Abbey, and remembered too with a statue in the corridor of The Palace of Westminster, Henry Grattan is undoubtedly the most honoured Irishman within the walls of the British Parliament. Born on this day in 1746, he was also undoubtedly once the most famous Irishman on the world stage. For someone so commemorated around us, Grattan - along with his brand of nationalism - is actually a somewhat forgotten figure in Ireland’s political life. Gavan is joined by Donal Fallon, co-founder of the 'Come Here To Me Website' and host of the 'Three Castles Burning Podcast' for another episode of Hidden Histories to discuss.
