As part of our General Election coverage, Ivan is holding a series of issue based debates with candidates on The Hard Shoulder. Fine Gael have been talking about the economic manifesto - saying that the best Brexit deal will get Ireland the best jobs.   Fianna Fail have held their own press conference, outlining their economic plans should they get into Government. And Sinn Fein pledged to reduce the State pension age to 65. To discuss the economy, jobs, Brexit implications and more, Ivan talked to Patrick O’Donovan, TD for Limerick and  Minister of State at the Department of Finance and the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, Michael McGrath, TD for Cork South Central and Fianna Fáil’s Finance Spokesperson and Pearse Doherty, TD for Donegal and Sinn Fein’s Finance Spokesperson.
