Government Wants To Allow Alcohol-Free Music Events

The government is considering a proposal to allow concerts to take place if there is a ban on the sale of alcohol. Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly and Minister for Arts Catherine Martin have met with arts campaigners to consider which events could be allowed to go ahead within COVID-19 guidelines. But would an alcohol-free environment be an acceptable way to get live music events up and running again? Dave Hanratty, host of the No Encore podcast, gave his thoughts.
