#GolfGate: Should There Be More Resignations?
Minister for Agriculture Dara Calleary and Senator Jerry Buttimer have resigned from their positions after attending Wednesday's Oireachtas Golf Society event at a Galway hotel, which is under investigation for alleged breaches of COVID-19 restrictions.
Over 80 people were in attendance, including EU Commissioner Phil Hogan, Supreme Court judge and former attorney general Séamus Woulfe and Galway TD Noel Grealish, who issued the invitation.
Should there now be further resignations?
Labour Party leader Alan Kelly, Fianna Fáil Senator from Kildare Fiona O'Loughlin, Martin Heydon, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine, and Paul Hosford, political correspondent with the Irish Examiner, joined us to discuss this.
