"Get the pupils learning a foreign language from 3rd class."

Pupils could start learning foreign languages as early as third class under the biggest shake up of the primary curriculum in 20 years. Henry McKean asked the people of Drogheda should it be mandatory, is it good to get kids learning a language from a young age? By starting earlier would kids get a better grasp of languages?  Is it a good idea to prioritise a foreign language over religion?
