Germany Won't Authorise AstraZeneca Vaccine For Over 65s - What Does This Mean For Ireland's Rollout?

Germany has refused to authorise the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine for people over the age of 65. The country's main public health agency said that there was "insufficient data currently available to ascertain how effective the vaccination is above 65 years". There are now fears that Ireland's supply of the vaccine could be halved after AstraZeneca and the EU Commission failed to resolve a dispute over delivery dates. Health Minister Stephen Donnelly has admitted it's unlikely that 700,000 people will have been vaccinated by the end of March. Hugh O'Connell, political correspondent at the Irish Independent, and Labour leader Alan Kelly joined us to discuss this.
