Gardaí Worried About Risk Of Policing Latest COVID-19 Regulations

Gardaí are concerned about policing new COVID-19 restrictions for incoming travellers. Yesterday the government announced that anyone arriving into the country without a negative PCR test will be required to quarantine in their homes. But can the Gardaí be expected to enforce this? Would monitoring people's behaviour in their own homes raise constitutional issues? Brendan O'Connor, vice president of the Garda Representative Association, Fergus O'Dowd, Fine Gael TD for Louth, and Liam Herrick, director of the Irish Council for Civil Liberties, joined us to discuss this.
