Galway's Karen Weekes Becomes First Irish Woman To Row Atlantic Solo

She said 'She Can Do', and she did. Karen's had an incredible journey, from hitting hammerhead sharks on the head to making friends with passing sailors, but nothing could have prepared her for seeing her friends and family on touch down. Speaking to Dermot and Dave, Karen told us of her special reunion with dry land, the special drink she shared with her boat 'Millie' and how she nearly ended up back in the sea!
