GAA To Take Action Against Dublin Players Who Broke COVID-19 Rules
Gardaí are investigating an alleged breach of COVID-19 restrictions after members of the Dublin senior football squad took part in a training session yesterday.
At least nine players were in attendance, including Brian Fenton, Jonny Cooper and Brian Howard.
Senior inter-county panels are not permitted to resume training until 19 April, as per the government's announcement on Tuesday.
In a statement, the GAA said it would "invoke any necessary disciplinary processes as appropriate".
Kieran Cunningham, chief sports writer with the Irish Daily Star, and Alan Dillon, Fine Gael spokesperson for Tourism & Sport, joined us to discuss this.
