From Lambeth to Connemara, the storied life of a professional footballer | Seamus Conneely

Growing up in London until the age of 10, before moving to Connemara and learning Irish isn't the usual path of a professional footballer, but it was for Galway's Seamus Conneely. Conneely will captain Accrington Stanley when they travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool this Saturday lunchtime, where the 36-year-old will come up against the likes of Mohammed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa. He joined Nathan from a blisteringly cold Lancashire, as the team searches for a place to train in the freezing temperatures and prepare to take on the Premier League leaders.
