Foo Fighters Sell Out Their Dublin Gig - What's The Band's Appeal?

Foo Fighters are back in Ireland, with a sold-out gig at the RDS tomorrow night. The band will be supported by Hot Milk and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes. Fans can expect a varied setlist, which included a cover of Thin Lizzy's 'The Boys Are Back in Town' at their Glasgow show last weekend. Foo Fighters are one of the most beloved rock bands of recent years, and their shows sell out wherever they play. But are they deserving of their reputation, or are they guilty of doing the same thing over and over again, as John Caddell believes? John was joined on our music slot by Dee Reddy to discuss this and more, including the week's other big RDS gig courtesy of Post Malone, a new film from Bruce Springsteen and a brand new Taylor Swift album.
