Listener email: 'I'm a single 42 year old woman and am really struggling with this free time. I've always been very comfortable with my own company but this free time has highlighted to me how much of a hollow I have in my life in craving for a partner. I haven't had any physical contact, not even a  hug in 12 weeks.  I've always desperately wanted to have children and feel there is a massive time bomb ticking with all this time I'm spending alone unable to meet any potential partner. I'm pro active, I online date and have unsuccessfully tried rounds of IVF and IUI on my own but I feel like my time has run out to have children and I have begun mourning for the mother I want to be.'
