Federal Troops in US Cities

This week saw violent clashes between federal troops and protesters in the city of Portland in the United States with the city's mayor, Ted Wheeler, accusing the US government of engaging in "urban warfare" against the city's residents. Federal agents, deployed by the Trump administration, have been attempting to deal with protests in the city which have been ongoing for 58 days.
